4-day SKA Shanghai Meeting started

Chang'e 4 team awarded Team Gold Medal by UK's RAS

China's Chang'e 4 mission team on 25 November received the only Team Gold Medal of the year awarded by Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) of the United Kingdom at its annual award ceremony held in London.
The Team Gold Medal, presented to the Chinese delegation led by Academician Wu Weiren, the Chief Designer of the lunar exploration project of China, is the first award ever that was presented to a team from China by the RAeS since its inception more than 150 years ago.

Yuanwang-21 and Yuanwang-22 back from transport mission to Hainan

China's rocket-carrying ships Yuanwang-21 and Yuanwang-22 wrapped up their mission of transporting the Long March-5 Y3 rocket and arrived at a port in eastern China's Jiangsu Province on 25 November. The two rocket-carrying ships departed from northern China's Tianjin Port on 22 October and arrived at Qinglan Port in Wenchang in southern China's Hainan Province after a five-day journey.

Netherlands-China Low-Frequency Explorer (NCLE) on Queqiao starts operation

The antennas of the low-frequency radio spectrometer on the Chang'e 4 relay satellite Queqiao, have been unfolded, and scientific detection has been started. The NCLE detector is able to observe the radio bursts of Earth, Jupiter and other planets, conduct collaborative observation with the low-frequency radio spectrometer on the lander of the Chang'e 4 probe and similar instruments on Earth, and help explore the exoplanets.
