On 19 July at at 8:19 BJT, China successfully launched a new Yaogan group of remote-sensing satellites from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwest China's Sichuan Province. The satellites were sent into orbit by a CZ-2C carrier rocket. This is the 10th group belonging to the Yaogan-30 family, and will survey the electromagnetic environment and verify relevant technologies by adopting multi-satellite network mode. Also on board was Tianqi-15, a satellite belonging to the Tianqi constellation, which will serve the Internet of Things data collection.

Zhurong has traveled more than 509 m on the surface of the Red Planet as of 17 July, 23:00 BJT. The rover will soon arrive at the second sand dune on its journey and will carry out a detailed survey of the dune and surrounding environment. By 17 July, Zhurong has been operating on the surface of Mars for 63 Martian days. Both the Mars rover Zhurong and Tianwen-1 spacecraft are working in normal conditions.

China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp, carried out the first test flight of a reusable suborbital aerospace plane in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region on 16 July. The unnamed prototype was lifted by a carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre and flew for a certain period of time before making a conventional landing at the Alxa Right Banner Airport. The flight test was successful.

"Collaboration between several nations in any large-scale technical and scientific project is always good," said the Swiss astronaut. "I look forward to seeing more Sino-European collaboration in space, and I am convinced it will happen, and intensify!" Drawing from his personal experience in spacewalks, Nicollier shared a personal message with Chinese taikonauts of the SZ-12 mission: "I would like to wish the three Chinese astronauts onboard the Tiangong station a successful continuation of their mission, and I congratulate them on their achievements!"

As of 15 July, Zhurong has been operating on the surface of Mars for 60 Martian days and has traveled 450 m since its deployment to the surface. It has been traveling southward to conduct exploration and inspection activities. The navigation terrain camera on the rover has been taking pictures of the Martian landscape every day. Also on 15 July, CNSA published 3 images taken by Zhurong showing the parachute and bowl-shaped back shell used in the rover's landing. Both items were about 30 m from the rover and 350 m from the landing site.
