China's Yutu 2 lunar rover has entered sleeping mode for the 8th lunar night of its presence on the Far Side of the Moon and is in good condition after traveling 271 meters, according to China National Space Administration. Yutu, was switched to dormant mode at around 17:50 h on 07 August after receiving signals from ground control. During the eighth lunar day of the probe on the Moon, the scientific instruments on the lander and rover worked well, and a new batch of scientific detection data were sent to the core research team for analysis.
