Yunhai 1-03 environmental satellite launched

On 21 September at 7:15 BJT, China sent onboard a CZ-2D carrier rocket a new environmental satellite into planned orbit from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre. The Yunhai 1-03 satellite was launched at 7:15 a.m. (Beijing Time) and entered the planned orbit successfully. The satellite will be mainly used for detecting the atmospheric, marine and space environments, disaster prevention and mitigation, and scientific experiments.

On 25 September, at 06:55 BJT, a Kuaizhou 1A carrier rocket launched the Shiyan 14 and Shiyan 15 satellites from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre.
