APSCO Student Small Satellites Ready for Launch

APSCO is ready to launch the two satellites developed under the APSCO Student Small Satellite (SSS) Project, in mid-October 2021.
The APSCO SSS Project is one of the important hands-on training programmes carried out under APSCO's supervision. It aims to promote the capacity building on space science and technology among the faculty members and students from Member States universities. On 16 and 24 September 2021, far well ceremonies for the SSS-1 microsatellite and SSS-2A cube satellite were held at Beihang University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, respectively. Right now, both satellites are at the launch site, where the teams are testing and preparing the satellites.

Leonard David found one of the most attractive space displays at the Zhuhai Airshow 2021: China’s next-generation crewed spacecraft. "The once flown capsule is making its public debut at the Airshow China 2021 in Guangdong Province’s Zhuhai City. This craft is larger than the now-in-use Shenzhou spacecraft. China space officials say the new vehicle extends the qualities of reliability and safety, and will be reusable."
