By the end of 2020, the overall value of satellite-enabled navigation and positioning services in China was 403.3 billion RMB (62.8 billion USD), with a 16.9 % increase year-on-year, according to the 2021 White Paper on the Development of China's Satellite Navigation and Positioning Industries, compiled by the Global Navigation Satellite System and Location-Based Services Association of China. The paper, published on 18 May, states that chips, equipment, software, data and infrastructure businesses saw an 11 % increase compared with 2019.
