Russia, China Push Forward to Create Research Station on the Moon

Leonard David has the latest news on the China-Russia lunar space cooperation on his webportal Inside Outer Space: "Russia and China have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate on constructing an international scientific and research station on the Moon. Dmitry Rogozin, Director General of Roscosmos, Russia’s space agency, put pen to paper and signed an MOU to cooperate with China on constructing an international scientific and research station on the Moon. China National Space Administration’s (CNSA) Director Zhang Kejian and Dmitry Rogozin, director general of Roscosmos, Russia’s space agency, put pen to paper and signed the MOU via a video conference on 9 March."

China advanced space cooperation in 2020: Blue Book

China actively promoted international space cooperation in 2020, offering satellite exports and launches, cooperative research and application services to the world, according to a recent report on China's aerospace industry. By the end of last year, 51 Chinese rockets had launched 59 foreign commercial satellites into space, said the 2020 Blue Book of China Aerospace Science and Technology.

Four CZ-11 sea-launches planned for 2021

11 March 2021
China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation plans to carry out four sea-based launches this year with its CZ-11 solid-propellant carrier rocket. Another one is planned from a land-born launch site. The rocket has been used before twice for sea-launch. Designers have begun to develop an upgraded version of the CZ-11, the CZ-11A, with a payload capacity of 2 t into LEO.
